“For All Wahoos – Past, Present, and To Be”
The University of Virginia’s Office of Engagement established the Student Ambassador program in 2010 to connect UVA alumni, parents and friends to the University through interactions with current students. The group’s student leaders are responsible for developing and implementing the program in collaboration with the Office of Engagement and UVA Club volunteers. The Student Ambassadors are in a unique role as a link between the University and its alumni.
Ambassadors create a connection between prospective students, alumni, parents and friends of the University while actively promoting the UVA Clubs Global Network. Ambassadors are active year-round and participate in Student Send-off parties, Congratulatory Calls to accepted students, Winter Social events, Cavaliers Care volunteer activities, the UVA Express and Welcome Dinner for international students, on-Grounds activities and more. The Office of Engagement is proud to host such a talented and professional group of student volunteers.
These students are dedicated to establishing connections, providing enrichment and spreading the University’s tradition of service. The UVA Club Student Ambassadors share their student experience with incoming students, alumni, parents and friends in their home community.
