On Wednesday, April 7th, alumni, parents, and friends joined us to hear about “Personal Finance: Check-in on your financial wellness” with Dot Kelly (DAR ’92, PAR ’19), a chartered financial analyst and personal finance lecturer at the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.
Dot, with her experience teaching personal finance to non-commerce groups, highlighted smart moves we can make to improve our financial wellness, reach long-term goals, and enjoy financial freedom.
Dorothy C. Kelly, CFA is the Robert B. Hardaway, Jr. Lecturer in Personal Finance. Dot teaches Comm 2730, a personal finance course for non-Commerce students at UVA, and is passionate about promoting financial well-being among students and alumni.
