On Wednesday, December 9th, alumni, parents, and friends joined UVA Engineering and UVA Clubs for an exciting discussion with three UVA alumni about the future of space travel!
“Ready to Launch – The Future of Space Travel”
Greg Olsen (ENGR ’71), the third private citizen to orbit the earth on the International Space Station, and Eric Anderson (ENGR ’96), the CEO of Space Adventures, discussed various aspects of space travel in 2020 and beyond. The conversation was moderated by Kathy Thornton (GSAS ‘79), UVA Engineering professor emeritus and veteran of four space flights with NASA.
