How to Get InvolvedJust show up at one of our events! We invite you to join us! The 'Hoos of Annapolis (and surrounding areas) have been very active during the 2008-2009 academic year. Check out all the activities and events we have held during the past year. Many are listed on this website under "Events". Look at the slideshows which are attached to many of our past activities! And see what we are planning for next year. We have enjoyed student and alumni networking events and social gatherings. We will be having basketball watching gatherings at The Boatyard Bar and Grill, student/parent/alumni get-togethers, wine tasting events occasionally (these are popular), even a cultural event or two, and hopefully, a lacrosse tournament event in May (if Uva qualifies; which they have the last 2 years). Membership in the UVaClub of Annapolis is free for current students and free for 5 years for recent graduates as well. Our 'Hoos Standard Membership fee is $20 per person and our 'Hoos Supporter Membership fee is $50 and up. Our membership fees are used to sponsor and support many of our activities. Our Club also buys a rail spot for the annual Marlborough Hunt Races (Roedown) held each April in Davidsonville, MD. Be in the loop!
