ACC Clubs of Chicago

The ACC Clubs of Chicago join together throughout the year for social and networking gatherings. Active ACC Clubs include: U.Va., VT, UNC, GT, BC, Duke, Wake Forest, Clemson, Maryland, NC State, Miami, and FSU. Below you will find past and future ACC Club of Chicago events.

Spring ~ ACC Bowling Tournament

Every Spring, the ACC Clubs of Chicago take over the lanes at Waveland Bowl to play a friendly bowling tournament against the best of the best in the ACC. Over 80 ACC Alumni attended the bowling tournament in 2010, with about 18 fellow Wahoos representing U.Va. ACC Alumni hit the lanes and mingled with other ACC Alumni over pizza and Beer. Prizes were also awarded for best ACC team, male, and female. Don't miss out on this year's tournament!

Congrats to the U.Va. Bowling team who came in first at the 2010 Annual ACC Bowling Tournament! The team won 2 hours of free bowling for six and a $100 cash prize. Additionally congrats to our very own Julie Creighton who also won Best Female. Way to go 'Hoos!

Summer ~ ACC SummerFest

In Summer 2010, the ACC Clubs of Chicago planned two great events to connect ACCers together in the Chicagoland area -- ACC Alumni SummerFest and ACC Boat Cruise on Lake Michigan.  In early August, alumni from all 12 ACC schools invaded the entire South Side of Kirkwoods, eventually even spilling out onto the outdoor patio.  Later in the month, the Boston College Alumni Association hosted ACC Clubs of Chicago for an amazing evening underneath the stars with an unbeatable view of the Chicago Skyline from a boat on Lake Michigan.

Winter ~ Annual ACC Holiday Party

All Chicago ACC alumni celebrate the holiday season!  Networking, mingling and celebrating...the ACC Holiday Party has become a December tradition!  The UVaClub of Chicago joined other ACC Clubs of Chicago to ring in the holidays! The clubs decided to support Toys for Tots this year, and ACCers brought new, unwrapped toy for children between one and 13 years of age. Fun was had by all!
