ATTENTION McINTIRE YOUNG ALUMNI!

The McIntire School of Commerce and the McIntire Young Alumni Council (MYAC) invite you to join fellow young alumni and hosts:
Debbie Muller (McIntire ‘87), Director of Training & Development, The Boston Consulting Group
Glenn Pappalardo (McIntire ’99), Director, PricewaterhouseCoopers
for dinner and a discussion on consulting. This event is part of our "Commerce City Circles" series, in which professionals in various cities meet to discuss an industry and network with each other. The dinner is the perfect opportunity for McIntire alumni to discuss the state of the consulting industry with peers and senior-level professionals who also graduated from McIntire. Our informal dinner-and-drinks format allows for successful networking as well as meaningful one-on-one interaction and the sharing of experiences, opportunities, and ideas. Come share your perspectives while connecting with fellow Wahoos!

About our hosts
Debbie Muller is the Director of Training and Development for the Chicago, Detroit and Minneapolis offices of the Boston Consulting Group. She joined BCG in 1993 and worked in client service as a consultant and then project leader in the Chicago office until 1998. During those years, she provided consulting services to clients in the packaged goods, high technology, and power industries, with an emphasis on marketing and product innovation. Between 1998 and 2006, Debbie took a hiatus from BCG, and during that time developed an independent management and marketing strategy consulting practice in Columbus, OH. She also served as an adjunct marketing professor at Ohio State University. Debbie returned to BCG in 2006.
Prior to her BCG career, Debbie spent five years in brand management at Procter & Gamble. She holds an undergraduate degree from McIntire (marketing concentration) and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Glenn Pappalardo is a Director in the Advisory Strategy practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he leads the practice's Retail & Consumer industry team. Now based in Chicago, Glenn helped start the US Strategy practice in New York in 2002, and recently led the opening of the group's Chicago location. PwC's Advisory Strategy practice focuses on providing growth and innovation strategy consulting services to its clients, both for organic and inorganic (e.g. M&A) approaches.
Prior to joining the Strategy practice, Glenn worked in the firm's Transaction Services group providing finance and accounting services to support clients in their M&A activity. In addition to his nearly nine years at PwC, Glenn has also worked in the Corporate Strategy group of Diageo, the world's largest spirits company. Glenn is a 1999 graduate of the McIntire School of Commerce (concentrations in accounting and finance), and also holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
