Membership

It is our goal to have all University of Virginia graduates who live in Chicago and the surrounding area involved as active members of the UVaClub of Chicago!

Membership Dues

We offer four membership options to select from.  Memberships are valid for a full twelve months.

Young Alumni* Membership
Standard Alumni Membership
Married/Couples Alumni Membership
Club Sponsor

*Graduated in or since 2006.

$20 per year
$35 per year
$60 per year, per couple
$100 per year

Why Pay Dues?

The UVaClub of Chicago is a non-profit organization that thrives on hundreds of volunteer hours and contributions.  Membership dues are used to subsidize the expenses associated with running the club and promoting the University of Virginia in Chicago. As a member, you will gain exclusive access to event discounts throughout the year while maintaining your link to the University.


Members receive great benefits:

~ Discounted prices to UVaClub of Chicago ticketed events
~ Free drinks: every member receives a free drink at most bar events
~ Priority registration for our most popular events
~ Members-only events including the annual Members’ Appreciation Party

A member’s savings can total over $80 in one year, which is well worth the dues!

I thought I was already a member?

The UVaClub is a local, volunteer-run organization that is not a part of the U.Va. Alumni Association.  We don't receive any funds from the U.Va. Alumni Association, and while we do receive tremendous organizational support from the U.Va. Office of Engagement, we are responsible for the funding for all of our events.
