Mark Thaden

Director of Development and Alumni Relations, Madison House

In April 2005, Mark Thaden joined the staff as the new Director of Development and Alumni Relations. Mark graduated from Mary Washington College (now University of Mary Washington) in May, 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in business.

As a student, Mark served as a member of Circle K, treasurer of PRISM, volunteered as a teacher assistant for the Head Start program, as well as prepared food at the Fredericksburg homeless shelter. After graduating, Mark then went on to work for Mary Washington as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving in the advancement office. In July, 2003 Mark became the Annual Fund Coordinator for the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation. While working at Jamestown, he became a Red Cross certified First Aid/CPR/AED instructor for the employee training department. He relocated to Charlottesville to become a part of Madison House team.
