Professor Hess is currently researching the Darden Growth/Innovation Model, The Challenges of Managing Private Company Growth, and Building Enduring Organizations. Ms. O'Halloran's recent projects have focused on business angel investing, the investment practices in emerging markets, social and economic impact of entrepreneurship education in developing countries, and development of learning cultures.

The first Ideas to Action Forum is dedicated in memory of Mr. Frank Batten, Sr., a generous and visionary benefactor of the Darden School who believed in the power of ideas to motivate and inspire entrepreneurial leadership.

On Saturday January 30, 2010 The Epilepsy Foundation of Georgia presents its signature fundraising gala, The Taste of Love, an elegant black tie event held at the Ritz Carlton -Buckhead, hosted by Atlanta Falcon Running Back and UVA alum Jason Snelling. The Taste of Love features gourmet dining, premium wine pairings, live entertainment, a top notch silent and live auction and the chance to dance the night away.
