Thanks to everyone who came out to this year's UVaClub of the Midlands Student Send-off. We were pleased to welcome newly admitted, transfer, returning and graduate students and their parents to the University of Virginia family in a reception at the Summit Club. Students, parents and alumni came to share their U.Va. experience and helped answer questions incoming students and parents had. View the slideshow.

Virginia Football vs Clemson Tailgate

Saturday November 21, 2009

On Saturday, November 21, approximately 80 U.Va. alumni and friends, hailing from UVaClubs across Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina, converged on Clemson, SC for a beautiful day of tailgating and fellowship in true Virginia style before watching the Cavaliers put up a solid fight against the Clemson Tigers. Friends and alumni of the University brought home-made BBQ and beans, boiled peanuts, ham delights, cookies and other treats that were delicious and enjoyed by all. Many thanks to all the generous volunteers who helped cook the food and organize both the tailgate and the buses for loyal Cavalier fans!
