In addition to several socials for alumni, family members, and friends, we would like to organize a "walk in the countryside" and a service project. Thu. 5/24/12, 7:00 PM - UVaClub of London: Explore Virginia Wines in London
The UVaClub of London and Todd Haymore, invite you to the third annual Explore Virginia Wine reception. Come taste wines from VA vineyards that will be in town for the London International Wine Fair. Hors d'oeuvres will be served and wine will be provided compliments of the Virginia wine producers. While wine will not be available for sale at the reception, Virginia wines are available in the UK and purchasing opportunities will be shared with event attendees. New Horizon Wines Ltd., the UK importer, and representatives from the following wineries will be present: Boxwood Winery, Breaux Vineyards, Early Mountain Vineyards, King Family Vineyards, White Hall Vineyards and Williamsburg Winery. Cost is 15 GBP per person. RSVP by May 17.

It's becoming a summer tradition in London! The UVaClub of London and the McIntire School of Commerce invite you to an evening with Carl P. Zeithaml, Dean, McIntire School of Commerce; Lynn Hamilton, Associate Professor Director, Management Communication Programs;Ira Harris,Assistant Professor, M.S. in Commerce Program and M.S. in Commerce Students on their Global Immersion Experience. It's a great opportunity to learn about the McIntire M.S. in Commerce program, their trip through Europe and share your experience living and working outside of the US with the students. Come meet local alumni, parents and students while connecting with the U.Va. global network.
