Jefferson Book AwardsThe UVaClub of Louisville promotes the University in local high schools through the presentation of Jefferson Book Awards to prospective students. This program recognizes one member of the high school's junior class who is considered by the school's faculty to represent the ideals of scholarship, leadership, and citizenship. These books are typically presented by a UVaClub of Louisville representative during the high school's formal junior class awards ceremony in April or May.
