About Your Upcoming College Fair
Thank you for representing the University at the upcoming college fair in your area. During the fair, representatives from a variety of colleges and universities are assigned tables where they place literature for prospective students. As our representative you, and possibly other alumni, will answer general questions about the University and distribute information. Materials that you will find useful include:
-
Introductory Brochures with general information about the University.
-
Response cards for students to complete so that they may be placed on our mailing list. Return these cards to Lee Morgan at the Admission Office after the college fair. Please have students complete response cards even if they plan to apply online so that we may correspond with them by email and perhaps invite them to other admission programs.
-
Handbooks called the Prospectus for referral purposes. The Prospectus is the primary admission publication, which we mail to seniors. Please be familiar with the information in this publication as it will help you answer questions from students. Also, when possible, show the students where pertinent information can be found in the Prospectus and explain that this text will be sent directly to them during their senior year. It also is available on our website here.
-
An Undergraduate Record, also for referral purposes. Students so appreciate seeing the depth and breadth of course offerings and more.
-
-
A list of questions students frequently ask and answers to these questions.
Please remember:
To arrive early so you can locate your table and display materials before the fair begins.
To stand during the fair and stay for the entire time so as not to miss any excited candidates.
