Get Involved

Are you interested in a meaningful and engaging volunteer opportunity? Would you like to interact with local alumni? Do you want to get to know other Hoos in Richmond? Do you want to bring in UVa faculty as speakers?

Get involved in the UVaClub of Richmond by helping with one of many of our events -- Cavs Care, MLK Middle, Jefferson Scholars, Ridley Scholars, and Luncheon & Evening Speakers.

The UVa Club of Richmond is building momentum and we are looking for new members and fresh ideas. Whether you are interested in working with students, planning community service, educational opportunities, or social events, there are many ways to get involved with the club. For questions about any of the following opportunities, please contact Teri Lovelace, Club President, at tlovelace@tcfrichmond.org or one of the Board Members in the area you're interested in.

Become a Member of the Club

The UVaClub of Richmond is made possible by and for alumni and friends like you.  Look for information to Join the Club and get access to our Online Registration form that makes joining a snap.

Volunteer for a Committee

The work of the Club is made possible by volunteers like you who participate in our active and fun committees which include: Membership, Programming, Scholarships, and Schools.  Please click on the committee you are interested in joining to communicate directly with the committee chair.

Lead a Committee

The Club's board size is 15 members and per our by-laws, board members may serve up to 2 three year terms. In general, board positions are filled in the Spring (June) for the upcoming term, but there are sometimes vacancies at other times during the year.
