Wed. 12/02 - UVaClub of Richmond: MLK Middle School Partnership: Mock Trial
On Thursday, November 12 volunteers will assist students with preparation of their mock court trial. The "trial" will take place December 3 before the entire 8th grade class. Volunteers are needed on Thursday, December 3 to lead break-out sessions and discuss the outcome of the trial.

It's a journey of less than three miles, but the trip from MLK middle school to the Virginia Holocaust Museum takes students a world away and brings them back with profound lessons for our lives today. Your presence on the December 8 field trip can help make the difference between just another field trip and a real journey of remembrance for these students.

Tue. 1/19 - UVaClub of Richmond: Lucheon Speaker Series: Dean Dorrie Fontaine
Dean Dorrie Fontaine of the University Of Virginia School Of Nursing will talk to the UVaClub of Richmond on Tuesday, January 19.
Fontaine's research focuses on comfort for critically ill patients, pain relief and family presence at end of life. Dean Fontaine will also talk about her work promoting healthy work environments for nurses and hospital colleagues.
