  • Cavaliers CareApril 17, 2008 — Every April, University of Virginia alumni philanthropy sees a spike in activity. While the causes helped are many, the source of inspiration is one: Wahoos nationwide commemorate founder Thomas Jefferson's birthday through Cavaliers Care Worldwide, an ambitious initiative connecting diverse volunteer projects at alumni clubs under a common banner of service.

Despite a heartbreaking loss in the final few moments of the game, the trip to Jacksonville was an exciting and memorable experience for all attending U.Va. fans.

  • Triangle RoastTraditional rivals are joining hands—and hammers—in a unique housing project in Richmond. The U.Va. Club of Richmond and its equivalent Virginia Tech alumni group are raising funds and will be sinking nails for a Habitat for Humanity house that is expected to be completed this winter.

  • More than 130 international students and their parents were welcomed by University of Virginia staff and alumni volunteers at Washington Dulles Airport and brought to Charlottesville on August 21.
