Thu. 8/21 - UVaClub of Atlanta: Student Send-Off
The UVaClub of Atlanta invites incoming and current students, parents and local alumni to take part in a Student Send-Off reception. Come out and welcome new members to the U.Va. family!
Wed. 8/27 - UVaClub of Atlanta: 'Hoos New (to Atlanta) Happy Hour
Young alumni are invited to meet and mingle with '08 U.Va. grads who now call Atlanta home. We'll share stories and swap tips about making it in the ATL. All that and free beer from 6:00 - 7:00 pm. At 7:00, you're invited to join other local alumni, parents and friends at the Open House. Register here for the 'Hoos New Happy Hour.
Wed. 8/27 - UVaClub of Atlanta: Open House
All alumni and parents are invited to meet the UVaClub of Atlanta Executive Board and learn about the many different ways to get involved with the club. Whether your expertise is in accounting, event planning, web development or even the art of recounting U.Va. football scores from the past six years, you can put it to good work with the UVaClub of Atlanta. Sat. 8/30 - UVaClub of Atlanta: Football Game Watching
It’s that time of year, when a Wahoo's thoughts turn to Scott Stadium and a clean slate ahead for the football team! Come share in the excitement around U.Va. football as we kick off a season of game watching at the 5 Seasons in Sandy Springs. And should the action on the field fail to hold your attention, you'll also enjoy door prizes and halftime trivia contests.
Fri. 10/24 - UVaClub of Atlanta: U.Va. Bullroast
Make plans now to visit with 'Hoos from near and far at the annual UVaClub of Atlanta Bull Roast. With live entertainment, a barbecue buffet and free-flowing beer and wine, there's no better way to connect with fellow Wahoos, support the Jefferson Scholars Fund and celebrate the Cavalier-Yellow Jacket gridiron rivalry. Details about and tickets for the 2008 UVaClub of Atlanta Bull Roast – including special hotel rates for you to make it a Wahoo Weekend of the Bull Roast and Georgia Tech game – will be available soon at http://hoosatlanta.org. Sat. 10/25 - UVaClub of Atlanta: Football Game Watching
Save the date for the annual clash between the Cavaliers and the Yellow Jackets. This year it's in our own backyard. Get your tickets from U.Va. to catch the action in person or plan to pull up a stool with fellow Wahoos at 5 Seasons at the Prado.
